Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in or use account features, we may process information associated with your Naturally Supernatural account, such as your name, email address, user or account ID, preferred language, country, and profile information you choose to provide.

Library, purchase, and enrollment information. We process information needed to provide your account library, including digital books available to you, courses available to your account, purchase or enrollment status, access rights, receipts, and related customer support records.

Reading and learning data. To provide app features and sync your experience, we may store reading position, reading progress, course progress, lesson completion, video playback progress, bookmarks, highlights, notes if available, downloaded content status, and reader preferences such as theme, font size, or display settings.

Certification and course participation data. For courses that include certificates, assessments, partner cohorts, instructor review, or completion requirements, we may process course enrollment, lesson and video completion, progress percentage, participation status, assessment or quiz results if available, completion date, certificate eligibility, certificate issuance, certificate ID or verification information, and related administrative records.

Offline and local device data. The app may store downloaded encrypted book files, cached cover images, course or media metadata, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, preferences, and authentication state on your device so the app can work offline. Local data may sync with our servers when an internet connection is available.

Technical, security, and diagnostic information. We may process information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app, including login/session tokens, device and platform information, app version, IP address, approximate region derived from network data, server logs, security logs, crash reports, performance data, and error or diagnostic information if enabled.

Communications and support information. If you contact us, we may process your name, email address, message content, support request details, and information needed to respond to your request.

The mobile app is not designed to request or collect precise location, contacts, photos, videos, camera data, microphone recordings, health data, biometric data, or government identification numbers.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the mobile app for third-party advertising tracking or cross-app behavioral advertising.

We use information to authenticate your account, provide access to purchased or enrolled content, deliver digital books and courses, save and sync reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, and preferences, support offline reading, maintain account and app security, prevent fraud or abuse, provide customer support, send service-related communications, comply with legal obligations, and improve app reliability, performance, and user experience.

For courses that include certificates, cohorts, instructor oversight, or partner administration, we may use course participation, video usage, progress, completion, assessment, and certificate information to evaluate completion requirements, issue or verify certificates, provide progress reporting, support instructors or course administrators, and maintain academic, ministry training, or certification records.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate legal bases for processing, including performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.

Purchases may occur through our website, app stores, or external payment providers. The mobile app does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment provider, such as Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment processor, according to that provider's terms and privacy practices.

We may receive limited purchase, entitlement, receipt, transaction, or customer information from payment providers so that we can verify access, provide purchased content, maintain records, handle support requests, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

If courses include video or streamed media, third-party video hosting, content delivery, or playback service providers may process technical playback information, device or network information, and usage events necessary to deliver content, maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot playback issues, measure lesson completion, and support course or certificate requirements.

We may share information with service providers and processors that help us operate the app, website, and related services, including hosting, cloud infrastructure, database, authentication, content delivery, video playback, analytics or diagnostics if enabled, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, and security providers.

For courses that are delivered with instructors, ministry partners, institutional partners, cohort leaders, or certification providers, we may share limited account, enrollment, course participation, video usage, progress, completion, assessment, and certificate information with those authorized parties as needed to administer the course, monitor student progress, provide support, confirm completion requirements, issue certificates, verify certificates, and maintain certification or training records.

These providers are authorized to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request; to protect our rights, users, security, or property; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of our business.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including HTTPS for data transmitted between the app and our servers, access controls, authentication, and operational security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account, library, purchase, enrollment, course, reading, certification, support, security, and operational data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain user access, support your account, issue or verify certificates, keep business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or retain it only as permitted or required by applicable law. Local app data may remain on your device until you delete downloads, sign out, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through the mobile app.

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

The mobile app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Mobile App Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the app after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the app.
